The Fortin Discovery Lab is equipped with a wide variety of development and testing equipment which can be utilized for electro-mechanical product design. Essentially this encapsulates any product which utilizes both electronic and mechanical assets to achieve it’s slated purpose. Interfacing both the electronics and mechanical aspects allows for a diverse product with precise controls and often, a lower cost than a pure mechanical solution. In the modern day of always-connected and smart devices, this is a growing field of design and production.
